Thank you for bringing Avishai’s article to our attention. The two paragraphs quoted here are the 9th and 10th of the whole article and relate quite specifically and, I feel, helpfully to the issue of boycotting universities. Much of the full article is focused on political and economic issues which I am not competent to assess but followed with interest. To my astonishment, however, in paragraph 5, I find the following:
” The American Anthropological Association, the American Studies Association, and the National Women’s Studies Association have voted to boycott Israeli universities. ”
The AAA did no such thing! This is a major factual error. How is it to be corrected?
